Thus, we are committed to protect your personal data in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) among other applicable texts. To this end, we provide this Privacy Notice that applies to the DRG4FOODtoolbox website and governs personal data collection and usage by the website only.

While using our website, you may share with us, on a voluntary basis, your e-mail address through the contact form of the DRG4FOOD website. We may use this data to contact you in response to your contact message – this data will not be used for any purpose other than those described in this Privacy Notice without informing and /or obtaining your consent first, when necessary.

The website of DRG4FOOD does not sell or lease any contact data to third parties. We share data with the service provider (hostnet) to enable the receiving and sending of contact emails. The Data Controller will further only ever disclose your personal data, without notice, if required to do so by law.

Cookies we use in the DRG4FOODtoolbox website: 

Elementor – We use Elementor for website creation.

WordPress – We use WordPress for website development.

4. Embedded content from other websites

6. Storage and deletion of personal information that we collect

Any personal information you provide us through the DRG4FOODtoolbox website “contact” is only used for communication purposes only and is securely stored on the DRG4FOODtoolbox website email server, by TWINDS only for as long as is necessary for us to comply with our contractual obligations to the funding authority of DRG4FOOD and no later than the completion of the DRG4FOOD project.

DRG4FOODtoolbox website takes information security seriously and implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect. 

7. Children

We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose information from children under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 16 we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible. Please immediately contact us if you become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information.

8. What rights you have over your data

Your data protection rights are granted by European and national Data Protection frameworks, including the GDPR, and you can exercise them at any time. In particular, you have the:

Having in regard that the data controller is TWINDS is an organization based in Belgium, the Autorité de protection des données, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Bruxelles (contact@apd-gba.be) is considered as lead data protection authority for all data processing activities taken at this website. Therefore, if you feel that your personal data rights have been breached and/or personal privacy has been jeopardized, you may lodge a complaint with this authority. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory data protection authority.

This Privacy Notice is effective from 20.10.2023. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Notice at any time. With that in mind, you should periodically check this Privacy Notice.
